We advise on various anti-trust and competition law issues in the context of mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures. We pay attention to ensure clients correctly file in transactions and analyse any risks of entering into investigation phases, including identifying risks pre-filing, and where appropriate liaising with the Competition Board, and advise on remedy packages where required.
Our general competition advice also extends to the review of commercial agreements, in particular distribution, agency, licensing and franchising agreements, to ensure compliance with relevant requirements or if required applying for individual exemptions.
For more complex cases, we can handle anti-dumping, cartel cases and competition investigations (including anti-competitive arrangements and abuse of dominant position), building an appropriate defence strategy and advising on leniency measures.
As part of competition compliance, we also advise on any state aid, anti-dumping and public procurement issues as relevant to Turkish trade, incentives and customs regimes.
